The 1st DOST-PDS SETUP Techno-Academy happened at the DOST Conference Room, DOST Regional Office in Sudlon, Lahug, Cebu City. October 21, 2017 was indeed a productive and memorable day for start-up farmers and seasoned farmers.
The training proper started at 9AM and ended around 5 in the afternoon. It was participated by over 120 interested and willing farmers who wants to learn more about cacao planting and chocolate making.

The day before, Team PDS paid a courtesy call to the DOST 7 Regional Office. They met with Engr. Ed Paradela DOST 7 Regional Director, Engr. Tristan Abando DOST Cebu Provincial Director and Ms. Vina Antofina Assistant Provincial S&T Director, DOST-Bohol.
Team PDS was represented by Mr. Christopher Fadriga, National President, Ms. Emma A. Rama PDS Treasurer and Mr. Nestor Saludo Cebu Chapter Officer.
